R & J Jewelers is licensed with the City of Reno to purchase second-hand items. If you have expensive
diamonds or finished jewelry that is more than we would choose to purchase outright, we will broker your
items to help sell your items quickly. For those not in a hurry to sell who want to get the most out of their
jewelry, we do a very good business with consignment items. Your jewelry is fully insured while in our
possession and can be picked up at any time.
Jewelry Appraisals
We provide written appraisals appropriate for insurance appraisal. Each jewelry appraisal comes with a
detailed description and a picture of the piece of jewelry.
Jewelry Restyling
If an item in your jewelry box has gone out of style or you simply want to try something new, bring it to
us. We'll work with your specifications to create something fresh and exciting.
Jewelry Repair
We have two Bench Jewelers trained in myriad aspects of jewelry repair. We can repair almost
everything: rings, earrings, pendants, chains, pins, etc. We can laser weld almost anything that is metal and fits in our machine.
Setting stones in their original setting or a new style can be done on the premises. We also repair costume
jewelry.
Watch Repair
Watch battery replacement is done on the premises.
Pearl and Bead Restringing
R&J Jewelers will custom-string your necklaces or bracelets and will always clean your jewelry before
restringing. This can be done in a many different styles and we're glad to work with you to create the
perfect style for you.
Bridal Registry / Wish Lists
We offer bridal registries to our betrothed customers and also maintain wish lists for any customer who'd
like to register for special gifts. Whether you want to make sure friends and family know what you've
been hoping for or you'd just like to keep track of your desires personally, we're here to help.
Engraving
Our in-store engraver will gladly engrave and personalize any jewelry piece. This service is performed by
machine, but we do have a hand engraver on premises as well.
Custom Design
Have something unique in mind but can't find it anywhere? We're happy to assist you through the
process of designing a completely new piece. We'll work with you to ensure the durability of the design
as well as the beauty. With our State of the Art CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Designing—Computer
Aided Machining) system, we can create your one of a kind jewelry masterpiece that fits your budget.

This additional service is completely free of charge.
Law Enforcement and Military
If you are in law enforcement or in the military please make sure to let us know as your service is
appreciated and we will give some additional savings off our already low prices. Proof of service is
required for this discount and applies to spouses.
